ABOUT "DARK FALLS"
"Dark Falls" is M. Barton's terrifying new mystery coming in October, but releasing in a weekly pulp format for free beforehand! The story follows Jane, a broken, bitter reporter as she struggles to unravel the mysteries of the Dark Falls Inn, a massive, rustic inn at the basin of a looming waterfall. Within the inn's dim hallways, spirits can be seen and screams can be heard. By the light of a candle, Jane discovers that the disappearances associated with the Dark Falls inn, just as with the secrets of her own past, are much darker than what meets the eye...

THE PULP FORMAT
The pulp format has been around since the late 1800's. Each fictional magazine would include a new volume with themes of mystery, horror and more, or a collection of stories. The focus was to introduce a new issue weekly or monthly to engage people over time, rather than publishing a full novel at once which could more easily become lost to time or overlooked.
Though "the pulps" name was derived from the cheap paper the stories were printed on all those years ago, this format will be modernized and digital, until - of course - the book's official release which will include physical and digital versions.
